Some say that coffee takes its name from the Kaffa region of Ethiopia, which is believed to be the native home of the arabica bean.  The flavor is strong and full bodied.  It has winy undertones, with an almost chocolate aroma.

We choose coffee grown on the northern slopes of Kilimanjaro, having a strong flavor with a rich hearty character.  This snappy almost winy flavor is unmistakable.

Peaberries are mutated beans, having one small round shaped bean instead of two halves per cherry.  The mutated beans are separated out in harvesting, making this a rare treat.  This coffee displays a spice like aroma and is close to Kenyan coffee in taste.
